The Origin Cycle
The Origin Cycle tells the story of Aether, an apprentice who grew up in a harsh world, among a people who are the last desperate refugees of a civilization that fell to an invasion of dragons centuries before. When catastrophe nearly destroys him, Aether saves himself by unlocking the magical secrets of the dragons themselves. Throughout the series, he and his friends go on to wield those secrets in the fight against the corrupt forces that caused the disaster in the first place.
Books one and two are out now, and book three is coming soon.
